Doris L. Caprari, 97, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Scranton.
Born in Jenkins Township on August 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Casterline Popple.
Doris was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School.
She was a loving mother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dominick Caprari in 2002; daughter, Cathy Caprari; infant son, David Paul Caprari; brothers David and Louis Popple and sister, Carmel Popple.
Surviving are her son David Caprari and his fiancé Karen Krehely, Pittston; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 10:30am in Italian Christian Church, 40 E. Oak Street, Pittston. Private entombment, Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
