Elinore Margaret Yentz, 87, formerly of Pittston, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pittston on February 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Eleanor Farrell Moss.
She was a graduate of Hughestown High School. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Alois Adanosky; second husband, Joseph J. Yentz; son, Alois (Butch) Adanosky; son-in-law, Daniel Palumbo; brothers, John Moss and Donald Moss; and sister, Mary Fila.
Surviving are her children, Lois Palumbo, Dupont; Bonnie Blaskiewicz and her husband James, Avoca; Mark Adanosky, Duryea;
Joseph Yentz, Pittston; and Donna Yentz and her husband Donald Engleman, Duryea; grandchildren, Michael Palumbo and his wife Victoria, Salt Lake City, UT; Alissa Palumbo-Högger and her husband Daniel Högger, Switzerland; Lauren Collins and her husband Michael, Haddonfield, NJ; Meg Burke and her husband Mat, Philadelphia; and James Blaskiewicz and his fiancé Kelly Miller, Avoca; great-grandchildren, Isabella Palumbo; Claire Högger; Anabelle and Milo Collins and Rosemary Burke; sister, Catherine Alba and her husband Charles, Pittston; several cousins; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Care and Concern Ministries of St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston, PA 18640 or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org), 4550 Montgomery Avenue, Suite 1100, N. Bethesda, MD 20814. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
