Nello Berrettini, 71 of Eldred, PA, formerly of Dupont, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Nello and Doris Reilly Berrettini.
He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and earned his LPN degree through the Wilkes-Barre Vocational Technical School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served from 1970-1974. He had worked for and retired from the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital in 2016.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lt. Col. Richard Joseph Berrettini in 2008.
Surviving are sister-in law, Jane Berrettini, of Port Allegany, PA and nephews Vincent (Chelsie) Berrettini of Eldred, PA and Christopher (Casey) Berrettini of Hershey, PA.
The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, November 17, 2023, from 11am to 12noon in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Blessing Service will be celebrated at 12noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
