Mary Stanczak Paolacci 94, of Lancaster, Pa., was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on January 19th after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Edwin Stanczak and the late Chick Paolacci. She was a former resident of West Pittston, Pa. moving to Lancaster ten years ago. Born in Wyoming, Pa she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Marian Valenti. She had nine brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and fashion. Always well-dressed and vibrant, her strong Christian faith sustained her throughout her life and illness. She will be lovingly missed by daughters Mary Anne Mikulka, wife of Charles, Lancaster, Pa and Patrice Beckey, wife of Robert Beckey, Williamsburg, Va.; step-daughter, Evelyn Paolacci, California; grandchildren Charles Mikulka Jr. and wife Karen, Lititz, Pa; Lori Klein wife of Jerry, Emmaus, Pa; three step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren Chuck and Matt Mikulka and Natalie Klein. She is also survived by brother Carlo Valenti, Naples, Fl and faithful friends, the Varner and Linebarger Families. There will be a private burial to be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.
