Frank “Frankie” Naugle


Frank “Frankie” Naugle, 53, of Pittston Township passed away Friday, January 29th 2016 in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in Pittston on December 7, 1962, he was the son of Joan M. Miglionico Naugle and the late Donald Naugle.

Frank was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. He began his schooling through the Luzerne County Intermediate Unit 18 and graduated from Wilkes-Barre Vocational Technical School in 1984.

Frank enjoyed the simple pleasures in life including a hot cup of coffee, a good slice of pizza, and scratch off lottery tickets. He touched the lives of all he met with his gentle soul and big heart. He was a compassionate person who could always be seen with his mom. He had many friends and all of his neighbors loved him.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Joan Naugle, are his sister, Donna Doman and her husband George, Larksville; goddaughter and niece Sarah Bozinko and her husband Jason, Larksville; maternal aunt Phyllis Gardner and her husband Marty, Pittston; maternal uncle Allan Miglionico and his wife Mary Beth, New Jersey; paternal aunt, Tootsie (Vernon) Chapman and her husband Sonny, Exeter; numerous cousins.

Frank’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gerald Gibbons and to the nurses and staff at Hospice of the Scared Heart for their tremendous care and compassion.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 12:30pm from the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Interment will follow in Pittston Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 11:00am – 12:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William Street, Dunmore, PA 18512.
