Joseph S. DePasquale, 81, formerly of Buffalo, NY, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Kingston Health Care Center. Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Jack and Carrie Augello DePasquale.
He was a graduate of Pittston High School, class of 1952. He served in the US Army.
He worked as a brick layer in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Atty. Guy DePasquale; sisters, Angeline DePasquale, Josephine Sciandra and Delores DePasquale.
Surviving are sons Jack DePasquale (Penelope) and Carmen DePasquale all of Buffalo, NY; daughter Angela Briggs, Dansville, NY; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Dr. Sam DePasquale, Kingston; sisters, Theresa McNamera (Tom), Exeter; Justine DePasquale, West Pittston; uncle, Michael I. Augello, Pittston; nieces, nephews, cousins; and companion, Ann Roccogrande, Pittston.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 9:00am from the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
