Thomas F. Bocolo, 90, of West Wyoming, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston on February 20, 1926, he was the son of the late Frank and Eleanor Cirelli Bocolo.
He attended Pittston schools and proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. He had worked in the local garment industry for many years; and also worked in maintenance at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. He was a member of St. Monica’s Parish, West Wyoming.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Lucarelli) Bocolo in 2007; brothers, Daniel, Ernest and Joseph Bocolo.
Surviving are daughters, Marie and her husband Richard Zdanowicz, West Wyoming; Barbara and her husband Harry Shanaman, Tampa, Florida; and Deborah and her husband Richard Tomko, West Wyoming; granddaughter, Alyson Sincavage and her husband Adam Blank, Washington, DC; sisters, Elvira Horvat, NJ and Janet Simonetti and her husband Peter, Exeter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family with interment in West Pittston Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.
