
Rodger W. Leppert, 73, of Falls, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his residence with his wife by his side. Born in Pittston on January 4, 1943, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Yolanda Becker Leppert.
He was a graduate of Pittston High School, class of 1960 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He was part of the SAC Unit working on B52’s.
He had been employed as an Avionics Technician at the Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Rodger was a member of St. John’s Lodge No. 233, Free and Accepted Masons, Jenkins Township. He enjoyed the hunting and woodcutting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Deems.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Patricia (Maopolski) Leppert; aunt, Gladys Wilson, Wyoming; brother-in-law, Edward Maopolski, Duryea; cousins, nieces, nephews; and loyal friend, Nick Lubianetsky.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.
