Claire Linskey Moscatelli, 63, of Pittston passed away at home on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Born in Pittston on March 19, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Agnita Johnson Linskey.
In her youth, Claire was an avid swimmer and a member of the Junior Olympics Swim Team. She also excelled in softball. Claire was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1971. She was employed for 25 years as a secretary in the local office of Senator Musto. Claire was a life member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mary Linskey.
Surviving are her daughter, Alese Moscatelli, Tacoma, WA; brothers, Edward Linskey, Harding and Jack Linskey and his wife Donna, Jenkins Township; sister, Mary Kay Brady and her husband William, Duryea; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 9am until the time of mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.
