Anna Mae Smith, 90, of Pittston Township, passed away at home Sunday, September 11, 2016. Born in Pittston Township on December 30, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Mazaitis McKeon.
She was a graduate of Pittston Township High School.
She was a life member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. She enjoyed being in her garden and tending to her flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (Herby) Smith in 1986, brother, Thomas McKeon and sister, Jean Lavin.
Surviving are her daughter, Patty Crawford and her husband Mike, Avoca; three grandsons, Mike Crawford and his fiancé, Amy Morreale, Pittston; Justin Crawford, Avoca; and Nicholas Crawford, Avoca; one great grandson, Michael Crawford III; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 9:30am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. Interment, parish cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday morning from 8:15am until the time of mass in the church.
