James W. (Jaimie) Dowse, Jr. 55 of Harding, passed away at his home Friday evening September 16th. Born in Pittston on September 2nd 1961, he was the son of the late James and Marie Giambra Dowse.
He was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School. He was a self-employed roofing contractor and also a certified gun smith, owning a gun store for many years. He served as a supervisor for Exeter Township for 18 years and was the Road Master for many years.
Jaimie supported the West Pittston Little League, local boy scouts and loved hunting and being outdoors. Jaimie lived a very fulfilling life although he faced many physical disabilities since birth and was truly an inspiration to all that met him.
Surviving are his sister Deborah and her husband Neil Williams, Harding; nephews Rich Overman, Harding and Ryan Overman, Wyoming; and great niece, the love of his life and ice cream buddy Brooke Overman.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The March of Dimes Foundation.
