George L. Tonte, 60, of West Pittston, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at home.Born in Pittston on April 3, 1956, he was the son of the late George and Virginia Inglima Tonte.
He was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School and Luzerne County Community College.
In his earlier years, George worked on the family farm, Tonte’s Farm, in Harding. Prior to his illness, he was employed at Blue Ribbon Dairy.
Surviving are his sons, Anthony, George, Michael, Kevin and Keith Tonte; a brother, Ron Tonte and his wife, Millie, Yatesville; a niece, Melissa Halapin and a nephew, Philip Oliver.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.
