Mary Ann Rossi, 74, formerly of Pittston, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston on March 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (McHugh) Mersincavage.
She was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School, class of 1960 and had worked for “Our Place” child day care as a supervisor in the infant department.
Surviving are her son Michael Rossi, Clarks Summit; a sister, Margaret Donahue, Pittston Township; two brothers, Paul Mercincavage and his wife Jean, Springfield, MA and Joseph Mercincavage and his wife Doris, Pittston; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 12, 2017 at 9am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. Interment, will be at the convenience of the family in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 4pm-7pm at the funeral home.
