Charles F. Mulligan, 69, of Pittston and formerly of Wilkes Barre passed away Tuesday, September 12th 2017 at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown. Born on April 20th 1948, he was the son of the late Francis and Lois Krapf Mulligan.
Chuck graduated from Coughlin High School and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
After serving his country, he had worked for Commonwealth Telephone Co. and Northern Telecom. He then worked for and retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Chuck enjoyed target shooting and was an automotive enthusiast, restoring and owning many cars.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Surviving is his life partner of over 32 years, Helen Perrone, Pittston as well as sisters, Susan and her husband, Philip Krachun of Marlton, NJ and Karen Robnett of Brigantine, NJ.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday September 16th at 10:00am in St. Andre Bessette Parish, 668 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am from the Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC., 251 William Street, Pittston.
Friends may call Friday, September 15th from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
