Judith A. Biscotto


Judith A. Biscotto, 83, of Pittston Township, passed Thursday, September 27, 2017 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in France on January 31, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angelica Vennarini.

Judith was a long time member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston.

Besides being a loving mother and grandmother Judith’s biggest passion in life was planting flowers, pulling weeds and taking care of her yard. Judith was well known and loved by all of her neighbors, who could find her from sun up till sundown, working in her yard. She continued planting flowers, weeding and taking care of her yard up until her final days.

Judith was truly an example of strength and love to her children and granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

Judith is survived by sons, Christopher Biscotto, West Pittston, Anthony and his wife, Amy Biscotto, West Pittston; her daughter, Mia Biscotto, Pittston and husband, Joseph Biscotto, Pittston. Judith is also survived by her loving granddaughter, Alexa Biscotto and sisters, Emma and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 9:30AM in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William St., Pittston. Internment will follow in St. Rocco’s Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, October 2, 2017 from 5-8PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.
