Susan Marie Stravinski, 79, of Pittston Township, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston on January 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Assunta Fumanti Bocci.
Susan attended Pittston Township schools and worked in the local garment industry.
She was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Stravinski, in March 12, 2017; brothers, Ernest and Louis Bocci; and sisters, Anna Naugle and Rita Hudzinski.
Surviving are her five daughters, Rita Dructor and her husband George, Pittston; Mary Nardone and her husband Michael, Old Boston; Susan Skursky and her husband Thomas, West Wyoming; Carol Paglianite and her husband Vince, Pittston Township and Theresa Slucki and her husband Frank, Drums; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 9:15 am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. Private interment will follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:15 am to 9:15 am at the funeral home.
