Suzanne F. Malloy of Pittston passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 8, 2017 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston on August 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Frank (Hank) and Anna Marie (Gallagher) Walker.
Suzanne was a graduate of St. John’s High School and furthered her education at Holy Name Hospital, New Jersey. She most recently worked as a supervisor in the medical billing industry.
Suzanne was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Madison, going to the beach in Florida, or just sitting on her deck by the pool with an ice cold glass of Coca-Cola. Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be truly missed.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, James J. Malloy, sons; Dr. Shawn Casey and his wife Michele, Jenkins Twp., and James F. Malloy and his fiancé Victoria Collins, Avoca. Grandchildren; George, Shawna, and Samantha Casey, and Madison Malloy. Brothers; Frank (Hank) Walker, Jr. and his wife Sara, Bear Creek Twp., and Martin Joseph Walker and his wife Gail, Charlotte, NC, sister, Mary Catherine Ardoline and her husband Joseph (Joe Shag), Pittston and brother-in-law Patrick Malloy and his wife Tammy, Plains, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday December 12, 2017 at 9:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to go directly to the church on Tuesday morning. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
