Eleanor Antonello, 89, of Pittston, passed away December 29, 2017 in the Gardens at East Mountain Nursing Home.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Miller and Anna (Stravinski) Antonello.
Eleanor was a graduate of Pittston High School and was employed at the Pittston Spring, Pittston Apparel, Lady Carol, and the Pittston City Treasurer’s Office.
She was devoted to her family, always putting them before herself. She especially loved and adored her nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her brother, Harry J. Antonello, and her sister, Jean Monteforte.
Surviving are her sister, Ann Lorraine Johns and brother-in-law, Milton E. Johns, Wyoming, as well as her numerous, loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:15 am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
