Leona J. Davis, 92, formerly of Falls, PA passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Milwaukee, PA on April 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Bedell Courtright.
Leona was a graduate of Newton Ransom High School. She had worked at the former Edelstein’s Fabrics in Pittston for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davis; son, Thomas Davis; brothers, Raymond and Floyd (Jim) Courtright; and sisters, Ruth Finch and Hazel Button.
Leona is survived by daughters, Patricia Fumanti (Frank), Pittston and Kristyn Tokash (Chet), Wyoming; grandchildren, Tonya Davis Siani (Patrick), Elisha Davis Carpenetti (Chad), Eric Fumanti (Joy), Gregg Fumanti and Lindsay Tokash Martin (Thomas); five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Leona’s request, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with interment in Milwaukee Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC.
