Josephine E. Marriott, 91, formerly of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Pittston on March 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Angeline Candelora Rosetti.
Josephine was a graduate of Pittston High School and prior to retirement had worked in the local garment industry.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Marriott; brothers Samuel, Nicholas, Louis and infant brother Peter Rosetti; sisters Angeline Bonito, Genevieve Bolock and Mary Bellas.
Surviving are her children, Cindy Mitchell (Wayne), Bear Creek; Thomas Marriott (Laura), West Pittston and Ronald Marriott (Debra), Harding; grandchildren, Michelle Marriott Price (Joseph), Tracy Marriott, Mark Marriott (Karyn), Joshua Marriott and Cristin Mitchell; great-grandchildren Noah and Keegan Marriott; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 15, 2018 at 9:15 am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home.
