Antoinette Deeb


Antoinette Deeb, 81, formerly of Pittston Township, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at her daughter and son-in-law’s residence in Nuangola. Born on June 27, 1936 in the Cork Lane Section of Pittston Township, she was the daughter of the late State Representative James Musto and Rose Frushon Musto.

She was a graduate of Pittston Township High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College. She retired as a secretary working for the Federal Government. She had enjoyed traveling with her husband and family.

Antoinette was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Deeb in 2006; her sister, Louise Francioso; and brothers, Senator Raphael Musto and Gerard Musto.

Surviving are her daughter, Leila Tucker and her husband Joseph, Nuangola; brothers, James Musto and his wife Gertrude; Biagio Musto and his wife Carol; Joseph Musto and his wife Nata; and John Musto and his wife Philomae; grandchildren, who were the “light of her life”, Joseph Paul, Jordan Michael and Jillian Rose Tucker; sisters-in-law Frances Musto; Domenica Musto and Sadie Ann Deeb; and brother-in-law James Francioso.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1:30pm in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 12:30pm until time of mass. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
