Dominick C. Pisano


Dominick C. Pisano, 89, of Pittston Township, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Pittston on February 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Sagliuccolo Pisano.

He attended Pittston schools had served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Empire Construction where he had worked as a driller. Dominick was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston and a member of the Avoca VFW.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Philip and Anthony Pisano.

Surviving are his son, Carlo; daughter, Georgenne; brother, Gino Pisano and his wife, Norma, Exeter; sister, Stella Centrella, Pittston Township; a grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 29, 2018 at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 8:15am until the time of mass.

Full Military Honors will be provided by AMVETS Honor Guard of Greater Pittston. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
