Antoinette “Toni” M. Harding


Antoinette “Toni” M. Harding, 79, of Pittston Township, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 surrounded by her loving family in Celtic Hospice at Geisigner South Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston on July 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Luciano Guarnieri and Maria (Messina) Ciali Guarnieri.

She attended Pittston High School. Antoinette’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed cooking for the holidays and family gatherings. She also enjoyed nightly coffee with her neighbors. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt and will be truly missed. She was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Guarnieri, Charles Guarnieri and Sam Ciali; sisters, Angie Arcadu and Mary Chiarelli.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Joseph K. Harding, Sr.; sons, Joseph K. Harding, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Plains; David Harding and his wife Lisa, Pittston and Robert Harding and Trish Beers, Pittston; grandson Michael Harding, Pittston, who was the light of her life; sister, Dolores Traglia, Duryea; brother Sam (Greek) Guarnieri, Pittston Township; brother–in–law Raymond Harding, Fredericksburg, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Celtic Hospice for their compassion and support during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 9:15am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives in the funeral home from 8:15am – 9:15am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Celtic Hospice, 601 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704. Private interment, Mountain View Burial Park, Harding.
