Jennie DeBella, 95, of Old Forge and formerly of Pittston, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in Mountain View Care Center, Scranton. Born in Pittston on July 4, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Calogero and Catherine Randazzo Cumbo.
Jennie attended Pittston schools and had worked in the local garment industry.
Her true enjoyment in life was her family. Jennie enjoyed cooking, baking, cleaning, and caring for them. She also loved to sing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel DeBella; and brothers Angelo, Samuel and Joseph Cumbo.
Surviving are her daughter Mary Ann Lamberti and her husband Nicholas, Old Forge; grandson Nicholas Lamberti Psy.D and his companion Maria Pirreti, NJ; great-grandchildren Nicholas and Isabella; and a niece Kathleen Haduck and her husband Charles.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 12:15pm from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives in the funeral home Saturday from 10:00am until 12noon. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
