Patricia Kopeck, 64, of Bear Creek Township, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Pittston on October 26, 1953, she was the daughter of Stanley Zurek and the late Irene Gydish Zurek.
She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and was employed as a payroll clerk at the Luzerne County Courthouse for over 40 years.
In addition to her father, surviving are her husband of 46 years Edward Kopeck; son Edward Kopeck III and his wife Jessica, Bear Creek Township and their daughter Kenleigh; daughter, Melanie Kopeck, Bear Creek Township; brothers Mark Zurek and his wife Betsy, Mountaintop and David Zurek and his wife Pam, Nanticoke.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, #7, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 237 William Street, Pittston.
