Eleanore Kristunas, 70, of West Pittston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by both of her daughters, on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Celtic Hospice.
Born in Kingston on October 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Anthony B. and Anna Mae Hudock Faltyn.
She was a graduate of Exeter High School and paralegal school.
Eleanore was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish at Holy Rosary Church, Duryea. She enjoyed volunteering and working in the kitchen at the many church bazaars and festivals at Holy Rosary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David G. Kristunas. Surviving are her daughters Georgia Bone and her husband Patrick, Exeter and Kim Fallbright and her husband Joel, Drums; grandchildren, PJ and Christopher Bone; companion with whom she resided, Joseph DePalma, West Pittston; sisters Paula Tracy and her husband David, Exeter; Mary Frances Pavlico, Exeter; Antoinette DeAngelo, Exeter; and Patricia Williams and her husband Steve, West Wyoming; brothers Arthur Faltyn and his wife Nancy, Brigantine, NJ and Joseph Faltyn, Exeter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 9:30am from Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. The family will receive friends and relatives Monday June 25, 2018 from 6pm-8pm and Tuesday June 26, 2018 from 8:30am-9:30am in the funeral home. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. John’s Cemetery, Cedar Street, Exeter.
