Elizabeth (Betty) Nardone, 78, formerly of Pittston, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Wesley Village, Jenkins Township. Born in Pittston on August 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late James and B. Claire Langan Dougher.
She was a graduate of Pittston High School and in her earlier years had worked in a local cigar factory and for Markdata.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony P. Nardone in 2015; sons James Nardone and Anthony Nardone, Jr.; brother James Dougher and sister Dorothy Smith.
Surviving are her son, Tom Nardone, Pittston; two daughters Barbara Perlock and her husband Mike, Harding and Betsy Telford and her husband Chris, Harding; grandchildren, Daniel Nardone; Amy Laboskie; Carrie Dietz; Michael and Amanda Perlock; and Chris, Ryan, and Nicole Telford; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters Mary Claire Mariani, NJ and Jeanne Lehman and her husband Chet, Easton; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Blessing Service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00am in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call Thursday from 9:00am until time of blessing service at the funeral home.
