Angeline M. Sciandra, 93, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston on February 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Lucy Carrara DiBuono.
Angeline was a graduate of Pittston High School. In her earlier years, she was employed in the local garment industry working for Sally’s Fashions.
She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt and will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Sciandra in 1961; brothers Angelo, John and James DiBuono; sisters Eleanor Iaquinta and Jean Devlin; sisters-in-law, Luisa, Patricia and Dorothy DiBuono
Surviving are her daughter with whom she resided, Roslyn Sciandra, Pittston; sister Ann Marie Madrak and her husband Bruce, Hughestown; brothers Nicholas DiBuono, Florida and Joseph (Pop) DiBuono and his wife Linda, Hop Bottom; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, February 15, 2019 at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston from 10am-1pm. Religious Services will take place at 1pm in the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Sibliano, O.S.J. officiating. Interment will be in St. Rocco’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
