Albert John Bardar, 73, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on November 18, 1947, he was the son of the late Albert and Julie Cichy Bardar.
He was a graduate of St Leo’s High School, Ashley and retired as Director of the EMA for Luzerne County. He was an avid hunter and golfer.
Surviving is a sister, Mary Lou Ferriero and her husband John, Holliston, MA, a niece, a nephew, and numerous cousins.
A walk-through visitation will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 from 10am-12noon in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover. CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance will be followed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Michael Lisnow Respite Center,
112 Main Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748, in honor of Albert’s nephew. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
