Alfred A. “Freddy” Gubitose, Jr., 75, of Pittston, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pittston on December 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Elvira Gentile Gubitose and Alfred A. Gubitose, Sr.
Freddy was a graduate of St John’s High School, Pittston, class of 1964 and Wilkes-Barre Business School. He had owned Boulevard Beverage, Pittston. He was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Francis Gubitose.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Patricia Rowker Gubitose; daughter, Maria and her husband Joseph Dominick and their children, Giuliana and Paulie Alfred, of Tampa, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 4pm-7pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 21, 2022, at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston.
Those attending are asked to go directly to the church Friday morning. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donation may be made to the Oblates of St. Joseph, 1880 Hwy 315, Pittston, PA18640.
