Alvia Lester Correll, III, 71, of Moosic, passed away at home, Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Born in Moosic on October 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Alvia Lester Correll II and Louise Howell Correll.
Al was a graduate of Riverside High School and had worked for David H. Jones Co. for 40 years. He retired from Wesley Village where he had worked in the maintenance department.
Al enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He will be truly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Popish and Joan Wilson; and a brother, William Correll.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the Renee Richards Correll; daughter, Christine Zeller, Moosic; son, Thomas Correll, FL; grandchildren, Brandon Zeller, Hunter Zeller,
and Ave Grace Correll; sisters, Helen Lesckinsky, Moosic and Nancy Hyatt, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, October 20, 2022, form 5pm-8pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. Funeral services will be Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10am in the funeral home with interment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst to follow.
