Ann Marie “Anna” Guitson, 87, of Pittston, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, peacefully surrounded by her family in Wesley Village, Jenkins Township.
Born in Pittston on January 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Cataldo and Josephine Mendola Dellario.
She had been employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry and was a member of the ILGW Union.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Sammy, Sammy, Louis, and Joseph Dellario; sisters Antoinette Maira, Catherine Sedlacek, and Rosemary Magda.
Surviving are her children, Leonard Guitson and significant other Valerie Berzanski, Exeter; Ann Marie Knorr and her husband Ron, Bear Creek; Barbara Wozniak, Moosic; and Lori Ann Guitson and her wife LeeAnn Nelson, DE; grandchildren, Lenny Guitson; Jennifer Ann Knorr and her fiancé Justin Adams; Ron “RJ” Knorr; and Ryan Knorr and his wife Gvantsa; great-grandchildren Natalie Guitson and Maverick Ryan Knorr; brother Geno Dellario and his wife Sandra, NY; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston with interment in St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston.
Mom, you will be very much missed, but never forgotten. You had a heart of gold. Rest easy now and watch over us.
