Ann Marsola, 99, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, hospice care, surrounded by her family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on August 13, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Lochay Morakon.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Marsola; brothers, Peter, John, and Mike; sisters, Mary, Sophie, Helen, and Frances.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Marsola, West Pittston; John Marsola (Michele), Pittston Township, and Samuel Marsola (Susan), Mountaintop; grandchildren, Brandon Marsola, Jonathon Marsola (Christina Bovani), Shannon Marsola (Wes Spalding), Anjelica Marsola, and Sam Marsola,
Jr.; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Marsola, Elijah Clinkscales, Weston Spalding, Lauren Spalding, and Cecelia Phillips; sister, Kate Shivel, FL; nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in West Pittston Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
