Ann Richards DePetro, 62, of West Pittston, passed away unexpectedly at home Monday, December 13, 2021.
Born in Pittston, Ann was the daughter of Elwood and Shirley Best Richards of Pittston.
She was a graduate of Seton Catholic High School and Luzerne County Community College. Ann was employed as a Registered Nurse at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. She was a member of the Jacquelines of Pittston Knights of Columbus and the Donegal Society. Ann was a fan of the
Notre Dame Fighting Irish and loved her cats.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Elwood “Woody” Richards; and aunt Dorothy Richards.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her daughter, Denise DePetro, Pittston; sister-in-law, Jodi Richards, Pittston; nieces, Jaime, Karen, and Cathy Richards; aunt, Jane Melvin, Topeka, Kansas; and numerous cousins.
Private funeral services were held. Arrangements were entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
