Anthony Michael Zambetti, 62, of Yatesville, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Rome, New York on February 27, 1961, he was the son of the late Anthony Carmen and Eleanor Marie Menichelli Zambetti.
Anthony was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, class of 1979 and Penn State University Apprenticeship Plumbing Program. He had been employed as a plumber for Techneglas and Penn State Mechanical.
He enjoyed gardening, car shows, cooking and watching Penn State Football. In his earlier years, he enjoyed going to concerts and amusement parks. He was the most loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. His ultimate joy was spending time with family and his grandchildren, especially Jax. He also loved his dogs and taking care of his saltwater fish. He will be forever loved and is already greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Lisa Ann (Hine) Zambetti on July 21, 2023.
Surviving are his children, Anthony Zambetti, Philadelphia; Julia Zambetti, Pittston; Jessica Timko (Andrew), Wyoming, and Erica Bezdziecki, Denver, CO; grandchildren, Jaxton Zawatski, Avianna, Grantland and Gracelyn Timko; sister, Carol Martin (Steve), Pylesville, MD; nephew, Steven Martin; mother-in-law, Betty J. Hine, Jenkins Township; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 4pm-6pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston with a Blessing Service at 6pm.
Our deepest sympathy to all the Zambetti family. We especially express our condolences to Carol and Julia. We are sorry we can not be there on Thursday. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
