Beatrice Rita Naples

Beatrice Rita Naples, 95, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Wesley Village, Pittston. Born on November 21, 1925, she was the daughter of Charles and Maria (Spogli) Nanni of Pittston.

She was a 1943 graduate of Pittston Township High School. Beatrice was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She lived her life with a profound positive attitude and shared her love of life and wisdom wherever she could. She was affectionately known as “Grandma B” to her family and as the “Queen B” to her second family at the Wesley Village.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, brothers, Robert and Peter and sisters, Ida, Betty and Dolores.

She is survived by her four sons and their spouses, Charles and Sally, Saint Louis, Missouri, Paul and Charlotte, Pittston Township, Gary and Sharon, Wilkes-Barre Township, and Elmer and Judy, Columbus, Ohio. Her grandchildren, Michelle Axtell and

her husband Barry, Marilyn Haynes and her companion Daniel Roderique, Melissa Foster and her husband Jerry, Paul Naples and his wife Nicole, Suzanne Fanti and her husband Michael, Lita Vincavage and her husband Kevin, Christopher Naples and his wife, Rachelle, Sabrina Benulis and her husband Michael and Charles Joseph Naples and his wife Jackie. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wesley Village and Doctor Joseph Radzwilka for their kind and compassionate care to Bea.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 9am-11am in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am in St. Joseph Marello Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 237 William St., Pittston with Father Michael E. Finn officiating. Interment, Mt.
