Bernetta Schwartz, 86, formerly of Pittston, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Allied Services, Wilkes-Barre, where she had been residing.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth Kaiser Schwartz.
Bernetta graduated from Pittston schools and continued her education to be a school teacher.
She spent her career as an elementary school teacher for the Pittston Area School District.
Bernetta is survived by her sisters Catherine Gunning and Mary Black as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Private funeral services will be held with internment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
