Beverly Marie Colarusso, 85, of Pittston Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Larksville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Yurko) Geist.
Beverly was a proud graduate of Larksville High School, where she began a lifelong journey of kindness, strength, and devotion to those she loved. Beverly dedicated her life to her family, finding joy in simple, treasured moments—gathering around the dinner table, celebrating milestones, and offering her unwavering love and guidance. Her generous spirit and warm smile will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was the cornerstone of her family, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who created a legacy of love that will endure for generations.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband of 60 years, Joseph R. Colarusso Sr., who passed away in 2021; her son, Edward Colarusso Sr.; and her brother, Edward J. Geist.
Left to carry on her legacy are her devoted children: Joseph Colarusso Jr. (Roseanne), Harding; Randy Colarusso (Jill), West Wyoming; Kathy Bieble (Lenny), Pittston; and Michael Colarusso, Pittston Twp. Her pride and joy extended to her grandchildren: Edward Colarusso (Kristen); Tahnee Colarusso; Nathan Colarusso; Kyle Colarusso; Cody Colarusso; Joey Colarusso; Gianna Colarusso; Kaylee Bieble (Isaiah) and Karlie Bieble; Sofia Colarusso; Michael Colarusso Jr.; and Rocco Colarusso; as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Olivia Colarusso, Skylar Colarusso, Kinsley, and Koleton Fleming. Beverly’s love and influence will forever be felt in their lives.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Residential Home Health & Hospice for their compassionate care and to Rev. Paul McDonnell for his spiritual support during this difficult time.
A memorial Mass celebrating the lives of both Beverly and her husband, Joseph R. Colarusso Sr., will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William St., Pittston.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass in the church.
