Carmen L Falcone, Jr.

Carmen L Falcone, Jr., 95 of Pittston, passed away at home, Thursday May 12, 2022.

Born in Pittston on April 27, 1927, he was the son of the late Carmelo and Carrie Zanta Falcone.

He was a graduate of Pittston High School. Before retiring, he, along with his brothers, owned and operated Falcone Beverage Co., Pittston. He was active with Kiwanis International, the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Clubs International, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Big Brothers, Sacred Heart Hospice, and Saint Joseph’s Hospice.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters; Tina Falcone Viola and Eleanor Falcone, brothers; Samuel, Raymond, Charles, Leonard, and Angelo Falcone.


Carmen is survived by his wife of 66 years Eva Mae Acernese Falcone, daughters, Louise Kearney and her husband, Kevin, Niantic, CT and Tina Stehle and her husband James, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Kearney and his wife Rachel, Boston, MA, Brendan Kearney and his wife Sarah, Westport, CT, and Lauren Gettys and her husband Matt, Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren Henry and Parker Kearney and Reagan and Grant Gettys; sisters-in-law, Theresa Roebuck, Sharon Washinski and her husband Ronnie, Irene Falcone, Sandra Falcone, Beverly Falcone, and Barbara Falcone, along with numerous nieces and nephews.


The Falcone family is grateful for the support and compassionate care provided by Erwine Home Care.


The family will receive friends and relatives Monday, May 16, 2022, from 9am-10am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am. Entombment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
