Casimir A. Kizis, III, 57, of Exeter, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at home.
Born in the Nesbitt Hospital in Kingston on July 4, 1965, he was the son of Casimir, Jr. and Carole Babuska Kizis.
Casimir was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, class of 1983, where he was a member of the National Honor Society and lettered in football and track/field. He received a bachelor of science degree in Business Logistics from The Pennsylvania State University and was a graduate of Northampton County Community College School of Mortuary Science. He was associated in business with his father at the former Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, in Pittston.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, the Lithuanian Club of Pittston and the Knights of Columbus, Council # 372, Pittston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Mesko Kizis on August 18, 2009; paternal grandparents, Casimir, Sr. and Rosalie Abromavage Kizis; maternal grandparents, Michael and Veronica Estochin Babuska; and aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jennifer Grenoble and her husband Scott, Hershey; brother, David Kizis, Plains; aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 10am-11am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am by Rev. Paul McDonnell, Casimir’s classmate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Barbara in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
