Christine Roberta “Tina” Connors, 65, of Laflin, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Kingston on April 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella (Chalk) Olshefski.
Tina was a graduate of Hanover Area High School and attended Penn State University. She had worked as a supervisor at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania and most recently had worked as a bank teller for PNC Bank. Tina also served for many years as the President of the Laflin Library Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Roberta.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Patrick D. Connors; son, Dr. Patrick J. “PJ” Connors and his wife Dr. Nicole Barnard Connors of Bear Creek and daughter, Dr. Kaitlyn M. Connors and her fiancé Damon
Tanona of Pittston Township.
Tina was a kindhearted, loving, devoted wife and mother. Her children were the light of her life. She loved spending time taking photographs and enjoying time with her family. She was adored by all and her kindness, patience and selflessness touched countless lives. She will be forever loved and missed.
The family will receive friends and relatives for a walk-through visitation on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 6pm-8pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, following CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

So sorry to hear about Tina’s passing. I will always remember her with that smile she always had on her face especially when she spoke about her family, her pride and joy. My deepest sympathy goes out to you all.
