Clyde J. Dixon

It is with deep sadness that our brother Clyde (Skip) went home to the Lord on May 9, 2021, Mother’s Day to be with our Mom and Dad. He passed away in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pittston on December 16, 1961, he was the son of the late Clyde Oliver and Dolores A. Constantino Dixon.

Clyde ws a graduate of Pittston Area High School, class of 1981. He was employed by Lowe’s Distribution Center, Pittston.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Michele Dixon and nephew, Jeffrey Dunn.

Surviving are his brothers, Paul Dixon, Pittston and Ralph Dixon (Felicia Yanulavich), West Pittston; sisters, Marlene Dixon, Pittston Township and Anna Dunn and her husband Jeff, Pittston Township; and Elizabeth Bilder, a very close, dear friend, of Dupont; great-niece Everleigh who called him Kip; numerous nieces and nephews.

Thanks to General Hospital and all the doctors, nurses, PAs, and staff that comforted our brother Skip when we weren’t able to.

Please get your COVID shots, if not for yourself, do it for Skip, so no other family will have to go through a loss with COVID.

I KNOW IT HURTS TO SAY GOODBYE, BUT IT’S TIME FOR ME TO FLY.

A walk-through visitation will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4pm-8pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance will be followed. Skip was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, so wear something with the Eagles on or their colors as a way to show how much he is loved and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
