Daniel M. Saporito

Daniel M. Saporito, 83, of Pittston Twp., passed away Saturday evening June 6, 2026 at Allied Services Hospice Center.


Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Martin Saporito and Stella Kuklinski Saporito. He was a graduate of Pittston High School and proudly served in the US Navy.


For many years Danny worked as a counselor at the White Haven Center. When not working you can find him hunting, fishing, especially with his grandson, at the casino watching horse racing or playing slots, he loved many Atlantic City trips and taking care of his yard, playing cards with the neighbors.  But his favorite past time would be watching his grandchildren play basketball. 


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Josephine “Peppy” Price, brothers; Joseph Saporito and Martin Saporito, and brother-in-law, James Supinski.


He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Judith Trolio Saporito, his son, Dr. Daniel Saporito and his wife Kara, Shavertown and grandchildren Daniel and Pia Saporito.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Romayne Trolio Supinski, nephew, James Supinski and his daughter, Skylar Norton, niece, Sarah Argo and her husband Anthony, and their children; Marco, Talia, and GiGi.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday June 11, 2026 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston, those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church, there will be no calling hours.


Private interment will be held in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.


Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC.
