Deborah Dalessandro, 66, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly at home, Sunday December 28, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ashton and a graduate of Hanover High School.
Deborah dedicated 25 years of service to the Luzerne Intermediate Unit, where she was known for her commitment, compassion, and care for those she worked with and served.
Deborah will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, and her infectious laugh, which will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Deborah was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Dalessandro, and her three sons: Anthony Dalessandro and his wife Amanda, Christopher Dalessandro and his wife Karla, and Michael Dalessandro and his wife Gianna.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jack, Nicholas, Jade, Madison, Kali, and Camilla, who brought her immense joy and happiness.
She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Ashton and his wife Linda, and Merl Ashton and his wife Theresa, sisters-in-law, Mary Elizabeth DeRome, Theresa Ripa and her husband Dan, and Jean Kizis, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her nephew Robert Ashton.
The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday January 3, 2026 from 1-3PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Denison Cemetery.

When I reminence about Debbie, I think of all the memories we shared. A lot of fun times working at the LIU, shopping & dinner, (birthing our boys), and sharing our secrets as good friends do. Wish we had more time together. You will always be in my heart dear Debbie & I will love and miss you forever.
