Dora Esposito
Dora Esposito, 91 of Yatesville passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Highland Manor Nursing Home Exeter.

Born December 28, 1934, Dora was the daughter of the late Cologero and Lucia (Dinofrio) LoBrutto, of Pittston. Dora was a proud graduate of Pittston High.
In addition to her parents, Dora was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Louis (Luigi), and her siblings Sam LoBrutto, Fedelia Turco, Julie Chimento, Carmen LoBrutto and Mary LoBrutto.
Dora was a self-less woman who devoted her life to raising her sons and joyfully babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed many years of having lunch on a daily basis with her three sisters. Dora had a quality that allowed her to connect with anyone she met. A room would be made better by her comforting nature and warmth.
Dora loved watching football and cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles. She liked to read, play cards and occasionally visit the casino. Dora was a wonderful cook and was known for the delicious pasta sauce and “minestra” that she made with Louie’s homegrown tomatoes and vegetables. She also loved to bake and took requests to make her biscotti, carrot cake and cheesecake.
Dora is survived by her sons, Patrick Esposito and his wife Geralyn, Archbald, Charles “Babes” Esposito and his wife Amy, Pittston Twp., and Louis Esposito and his wife Cindy, Exeter. She is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer (Matt), Lewis, Nicholas (Margaret), Louis (fiancée Brittney), Lauren, Evan, and great-granddaughter, Holly, with whom she shared her birthday as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Funeral mass will be held Friday, October 9, 2026 at 9:30AM in Communion of Saints Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 237 William St. Pittston.
Interment will follow in Saint Rocco’s Cemetery.
