Throughout his career, he has individually presented or participated in numerous tax, legal and educational programs and seminars for internal professional staff as well as outside community and civic organizations.

In addition to his professional activities, he was involved in and served on the boards and committees of various civic, charitable and social organizations in York. He was a board member and officer of the York County Bar Association and is particularly proud of his participation in the creation of the York County Bar Foundation and his many years of service as a board member, a committee member and an officer, serving as both Treasurer and President to that organization over the years. Ned was a grateful recovering member of Alcoholics Anonymous since December 18, 1992.

He is survived by his best friend and wife of 45 years, Kathy Sheaffer Stankoski; a son, Anthony and his wife Nicole of Waxhaw, NC; a son Dean, presently of Worchester, MA; and his grandchildren and the lights of his life, Lily and Luke, children of Anthony and Nicole. Ned was a fair-weather golfer but once had a hole in one at Seven Springs Resort at a partners’ retreat. He enjoyed repairing and constructing projects around the home and especially at the beach house in Emerald Isle, NC. He spent many enjoyable days and weeks at the beach with Kathy and the kids, especially Lily and Luke, and other family and friends.
