Edward William Noone, 80, of Hughestown, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at his home.
Born in Hughestown on August 17, 1941, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Meade) Noone.
He was a graduate of Hughestown High School and served in the U. S. Army. Edward had worked for the Gas Company for over 35 years. He loved spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Edward Noone; infant daughter, Kathy Noone; and sister, Gerri Dworak.
Surviving are daughters, Helen Gruttadauria (John), Duryea; Lisa Rohland (Brian), Old Forge; and Andrea Burmeister, Luzerne; grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Justine, Primo, and Skyler; brother, Robert Noone (Terri) Hughestown; former wife, Annette Porter, West Pittston; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 10am-12noon in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Blessing Service will take place at 12noon in the funeral home. Interment with military honors in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
