Eileen Mary Hines, 78, of Exeter, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Scranton on October 30, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary V. Holmes Occhipinti.
Eileen was a graduate of St. Ann’s Academy and Marywood College. She was employed as group leader for the Weight Watchers organization, her true calling, for 20 years.
Eileen was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She had a love for decorating her home for each and every holiday. She also had a passion for music. She was a Miami Dolphins football fan.
She was involved in the family business, the Skyliner Diner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Occhipinti, II.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Robert H. Hines; son Gary Ferentino, Exeter; step-children, Robert Hines, Davie, Florida and Catherine Hines, Broomfield, Colorado; nephew, Nicholas Occhipinti, III (Hazel), White City, Oregon; niece, Jennifer Occhipinti and her son, Spencer, Anchorage, Alaska; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
