Ellen R. Sickler, 80, of Pittston Township, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, in The Gardens at East Mountain.
Born in Pittston on February 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ann McHale Mulhern.
Ellen was a graduate of Pittston Township High School. She had worked as a nurse’s aide.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick J. Sickler; brothers, Tom Mulhern and Brian Mulhern; and sister, Ann Clark
Surviving are her son, Fred Sickler and his wife, Linda, Pittston Township; daughter, Robin Ragantesi and her husband, Bill, Mountaintop; grandchildren, Hunter Ragantesi and Nathan Ragantesi; brother, Dan Mulhern and his wife Lynn, Virginia; sisters, Linda Smith, Dunmore and Mary Miller Duryea; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 1:00pm in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. Interment, parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
