Erica Boyar Verbrugge, 48, of Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Wyoming, Pa, passed away peacefully September 18, 2022 in Aurora, Colorado due to complications with COVID-19.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 19, 1973, she was the daughter of Richard and JoeAnn Marianacci Boyar of Wyoming.
Erica was a graduate of Seton Catholic High School and Wilkes University. She had worked at Dish, Englewood, Colorado where she was responsible for development and set up of new Dish Wireless nationwide.
She loved listening to music, theater, singing, dancing, and spending time with her children, which she couldn’t get enough of. They were the center of her life.
Erica was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Dorothy Boyar, Forty-Fort and maternal grandparents, Dominick and Blodwyn Marianacci, Wyoming.
In addition to her parents, Erica is survived by her children, Maddox Anthony and Makenna Grace; sister, Vanessa Harry (William), West Pittston; nephew, Bryce Harry; Nieces, Kyla and Brianna Harry; aunt, Linda Davenport; uncles, Fredrick Marianacci (Patricia) and Dominic Marianacci (Susan); numerous cousins; best friend, Christa Walzer.
The family extends their appreciation for all the help and guidance provided by Kristen Hoover, Exeter.
The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 9am-11am in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Blessing Service will begin at 11am and interment will follow in the Italian Independent Cemetery, Wyoming.
